I have a couple of acronym to add to yours.
My brother had a Ford and his friend had a Fiat.
The friend was always saying Fix Or Repair Daily but my brother had his own back by saying that Fiat was just another way of saying Fix It Another Time.
It gave both of them a lot of entertainment thinking up ways of describing things that had broken down or fallen off their equally old and decrepit vehicles.
I also have a cousin who lives in British Columbia. His dad used to own a very nice Pontiac but my cousin insisted that this stands for Poor Old Ninny Thinks It's A Cadillac.
Every time he told us this he fell about laughing, which then made all of us laugh. As Brits, we had no idea what the difference between Pontiacs and Cadillacs was.
